They just keep coming and coming and coming

She's officially taken her first steps. Last week she took three all by herself, and is getter better every day standing on her own. It was beautiful yesterday, so we took a detour from our walk to get coffee and a muffin to stop at a little park along the way and take some shots. Enjoy!
She loves to find treasures for mumma. (a lot of them do end up in her mouth, though)

The time has come, the time is now.

Yesterday was a day for the baby books. Magpie is officially trying to stand on her own now. Les and I were talking and looked down and there she was: "Look mom, no hands!!" You could read the acknowledgment and excitement on her face, and after that first time, when she knew she could do it, there was no stopping her. I can't quite believe that time has come, and how sudden and different everything is now.



Ten months seems too short a time to go from that to this!
