Well, our apartment is in such shambles that I can't find the digital camera to snap a picture of Mags. Actually that's not entirely true; the living room looks beautiful since I just cleaned and rearranged it, but I can't really find the rest of the place.
Magnolia has been quite out of sorts lately, and although she's sleeping for long stretches in the night time, it has been replaced with crying from about 5-11 in the evening. At least I have energy to deal with it. I'm assuming it's just some kind of colic, but I think I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow (she's been running a fever with diarrea since Sunday.) I discovered that I could get a few minutes of break from her crying by putting her on the dryer, so I actually got almost all the laundry done tonight.
I finally made it to the library today. I've been trying since Saturday. I've come to the conclusion that thus far Magnolia is opposed to me visiting the library. She probably has been informed of my track record of fines by her father, and fears it might affect her supply of diapers. :) We've tried to go in the past, and she screams as soon as we get in. Today though she gave me a whopping 10 minutes. Hey I'll take it though.
She's started smiling. The first one was last Saturday, and they've occured almost every day since. It just makes your heart melt, and reminds you why you don't throw her in a snow bank when you're dealing with crying for 4 or 5 hours.
We went to the mall today to get pictures developed, and I had an hour to kill, so I walked around the department stores. It definitely was a different experience pushing a stroller the size of a Hummer. I had to laugh when I didn't even know where the kids section was in most of the stores. I do now though. :)
Until next time, when I hope to be able to put more pictures on here.
