A trip to Concord

Les Magnolia and I piled in the truck tonight to take some furniture to Kaileigh in Concord. We grabbed a burger at the Barley House on the way home and Dad and Mags had a little fun wrestling on the sidewalk before getting in the truck.

Spending the night at Grandpa and Gigi's

Magnolia spent the night with Grandpa and Gigi last night and I met them at TJ's baseball game the next afternoon. She and Devin played around in the grass during the game and almost as soon as we got in the car she was crashed from playing so hard. After we got home she fell back asleep in her Dad's arms.

A weekend at Duck Lake

Larry and Fran were in town for a week and halfway through their visit we all went up to Chris' family's camp on Duck Lake in Maine. I posted some of the pictures at our flickr site (link is on the right side of this page). Enjoy!

Memorial Weekend 2008

Some of the family went up to the Hubbard family camp on Lake Umbagog this weekend.
The weather was beautiful right up until we loaded the boat and headed back to the boat launch. The camp has no electricity or indoor plumbing, and no cell reception, so it's really like "getting away." So much so that I really wasn't really ready to "get back."

A morning outside

It was a beautiful morning, so I sat on the porch and enjoyed the sunshine while Magnolia picked all the dandylions in the front yard.

Oh no Bear!

What happened? Is bear incarcerated? Is this a mug shot?

Don't panic. Bear is where he should be, soundly sleeping beside Magnolia. (with only a mild interruption for small photoshoot.)

No, we're taking precautions to make sure we always have bear around....with a back-up. This picture is for Gigi and the woman who is making a duplicate pink bear. We just want to make sure we get the head right...and the eyes....bear has always had a very sympathetic look in his eyes.
