Magnolia's Blossoming

A way to stay in touch with the daily goings on of Miss Magnolia Elizabeth Coates.

This weekend we took Magnolia on her frist camping trip. We went up to Glen, NH and camped at the Glenn Ellis campground, a family campground on a penninsula where the Ellis and Saco rivers converge. Though we usually like to stray from the beaten path a bit, we decided to try a family campground since we had Magnolia, and had it not rained most of the weekend, it would have been a blast. We had a pretty good time anyway, but it's always a trick to keep our very busy toddler entertained inside, let alone away from home with only a tent and a truck. Instead of cooking breakfast on Sunday, we decided to go out to Yesterday's Restaurant in Jackson. Very tastey. After checking out of the campground around noon we drove over Bear Mountain and took the Kancamagus highway, snaking alondside the Swift River until we saw a good spot to fish and make lunch, which is where all of these pictures except for the first one are taken.
